Michael P. Tyson
became associated with our law firm in July of 2014. Mr.
Tyson represents clients dealing with Internal Revenue
Service tax controversy matters. He also handles probate
administration, civil litigation, and bankruptcy
matters, as well as assists with individual and business
tax return preparation.
Mr. Tyson graduated from Florida State University with a B.A.
in History and a Minor in Philosophy in 2007, and from
Stetson Law School with a J.D. in 2010. He then attended
the Graduate Tax Program at Boston University, receiving
his LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation in 2011. Prior to
joining our firm, Mr. Tyson worked as a trial attorney
for the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional
Counsel in Manatee County, Florida.
Mr. Tyson handled serious criminal litigation
matters including murder, arson, robbery and burglary.
Mr. Tyson is admitted to practice in the State of
Florida, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United
States District Court for the Middle District of
Florida, and the United States Tax Court.
